Explore my work in Learning Design and Resources
A selection of learning artefacts and resources designed to make complex ideas clear, engaging and visually compelling. These examples showcase my approach to combining strong visual design with thoughtful learning experiences—creating materials that are not only functional, but capture attention and bring learning to life.
Responsible Ai
Sample layout and visual design concepts for an eLearning module exploring how to use AI responsibly.
The concept plays on the phrase “taking a deep dive”, using the visual metaphor of the learner journeying beneath the surface and into an unknown underwater world—representing the emerging and often unfamiliar landscape of AI technology.
The brief called for a modern, creatively fresh visual direction that moved beyond typical corporate branding, while still providing a clear and engaging framework for the learning experience.
First Hike
While at Bankwest, I participated in a skilled volunteering project to create a visually engaging induction package for volunteers joining the First Hike Project (FHP), a camp experience supporting newly arrived children from refugee and migrant backgrounds as they settle into life in Australia. The brief required a mobile-friendly solution that could be emailed and completed remotely, so I designed an interactive PDF with website-style navigation and integrated links to SurveyMonkey for volunteer onboarding. The resource also served as a prototype for the client to develop into a more comprehensive digital experience.
The layouts shown here are from the first section of the PDF, designed around an Australian-themed campsite journey where volunteers move from campsite to campsite, learning about the First Hike program as they progress through the induction.
Finding Information Fast
While at Bankwest, I identified an opportunity during an annual eLearning content review to reimagine the gamified module Finding Information Fast and create a more immersive learning experience. The module challenges learners to quickly locate information across company systems, progressing when they answer correctly or skipping questions with a three-minute penalty. I developed a blueprint storyboard proposing a more exploratory island-based experience, using animation, atmospheric sound design and a choice of two playable characters to increase engagement and encourage learners to build their navigation skills through repeated practice.
Toasted Sandwiches
While at Bankwest, I took on a fun weekend eLearning challenge themed around toasted sandwiches. I created a light-hearted interactive module exploring the origins and history of the toasted sandwich, paired with a step-by-step cooking demonstration teaching learners how to make one themselves. The project was an opportunity to experiment with a playful subject while applying engaging visual storytelling and eLearning design techniques.
Solutions IT
During my time at PerthWeb, I was assigned to the Solutions IT project to develop a visual design and prototyping concept for an immersive learning experience for primary school students. The concept envisioned a fantasy-themed space station where students could manage their school activities, learning and personalised pathways within a virtual school environment. Students could create a profile and customise an avatar to navigate their own virtual space station. The screens showcased here highlight the user interface, environment design and visual world-building I developed for the concept.
Learning Resources and Activity Sheets
